🌴. సహజంగానే, మూర్తీభవించిన నేను అనేది చైతన్యం మాత్రమే. అయిననూ, శరీరంలోని తత్త్వాలతో అనుబంధం వలన మరియు దాని ప్రకాశాన్ని దాని స్వచ్ఛతను కప్పి ఉంచే మాయ కారణంగా ఇది పరిమితమైనది మరియు అపవిత్రమైనది. 🌴

ఆత్మ – వ్యక్తిగత స్వయం; చిత్తం - బుద్ధి మరియు అహంతో పాటు కూడిన మనస్సు. ఇది మనస్సు యొక్క స్థూల రూపం అని వివరించవచ్చు. అహంకారం మరియు బుద్ధి ప్రభావం లేనిది సూక్ష్మ మనస్సు. - ఆత్మ అనేది ఒక వ్యక్తిని సూచిస్తుంది. ఒక వ్యక్తి యొక్క ప్రవర్తనా విధానం ఎక్కువగా అతని మనస్సు యొక్క నాణ్యతపై ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది. మనస్సు ఇంద్రియ బాధలు లేకుండా ఉన్నప్పుడు, దానికి ముద్రలకు తక్కువ అవకాశం ఉంది. ముద్రలు(అంటే ప్రభావాలు) మనసులో నిక్షిప్తమై కోరికలు మరియు వ్యసనాలను కలిగిస్తాయి. అహంకారం మరియు బుద్ధి కారణంగా మనస్సులో లోతైన ముద్రలు ఏర్పడతాయి.

🌻 3-1. ātmā cittam. -1 🌻

🌴. By nature, the embodied self is also consciousness only. However, it is limited and impure due to its association with the tattvas in the body and the presence of maya who veils its illumination and purity. 🌴

Ātmā – the individual self; cittam – mind along with intellect and ego. This can be explained as the gross form of the mind. Subtle mind is the one that is not influenced by ego and intellect. Ātmā refers to an individual. An individual’s behavioural pattern is largely based on the quality of his mind. When the mind is devoid of sensory afflictions, it is lesser prone to impressions. Impressions (meaning effect) get embedded in the mind causing desires and addictions. Deep impressions are caused in the mind due to ego and intellect.
